Sources before claims
Guides draw on published manufacturer operating manuals, product technical overviews, and ISTA testing procedure frameworks. Because machine interfaces, electrical configurations, and cushioning behavior depend on the exact equipment variant and incoming board grade, each guide links directly to the primary documents cited and records substantive revision dates.
Workstation records and worksheets
Inspection tables, stoppage logs, and material-balance equations help packaging and operations teams structure floor trials and compare conversion workflows against purchased void fill. Teams should pair these records with the operating manual for their installed machine model and the active packout specification for their shipment mix.
Photography and technical schematics
Photographs and vector schematics illustrate corrugated output geometry (connected perforated mats versus loose chipped board), dust-extraction hose routing, stoppage traceability loops, and accepted-parcel cost boundaries.
Revision stewardship
Corru-Shred is an independent technical publication. When cited manufacturer manuals or testing frameworks are updated, affected guides are revised and stamped with an updated publication date. See the contact and corrections page for how primary source updates are documented.
